The UFC 119 fight card was originally scheduled to feature a rematch between former heavyweight champions Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira , but due to Nogueira injury he was replace by Cro Cop. Cro Cop has been tapped on five-weeks notice for the main event. Two of the best heavyweights of the modern era, Frank Mir and Mirko Cro Cop, finally meet in a grappler vs striker showdown.
